Ravens’ Roost’s resident, Tony, who is a retired UAF forestry extension specialist and professor will host an Arbor Day tree planting event on Sunday, May 19 at 1:00 p.m. The event is tailored to children but adults are encouraged to attend. Tony will present a history of Arbor Day and will involve children in planting an evergreen tree. This will be a great event with someone who has a demonstrated passion for educating, so please save the date and plan to attend.
