Raíces del Mundo (Roots of the World) is collaborating with Colectivo Sá’a from Oaxaca, Mexico, to present the third in a series of First Friday International Art Exhibits. December’s theme will be Animals of Alaska, as interpreted by Mexican and Alaskan artists. Video messages from the artists will be included.
The organizer of this series is Becky Roberts, originally a young resident of Ravens’ Roost. Becky first visited Mexico ten years ago, and it captured her heart. Now, after more than five years of living in the country, she is delighted to share part of Mexico with Anchorage residents.
