Ravens' Roost Cohousing
Wondering if it is still possible to visit Cuba in 2018? Well the answer is yes! It’s not only possible, it’s incredibly interesting and a lot of fun! Come hear about the wonderful month that Ravens’ Roost resident Dena just spent in Cuba. She flew to Cocodrilo, a protected refuge on the Isla of Juventud (which gets fewer than 6 tourists per year), then took a bus to Puerto Padre – a small town on the eastern side of the island, and also spent a week in Havana. Dena fell in love with Cuba and is already making plans for her next visit!
We’ll have a reception beginning at 6:30 and the presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. After the presentation, you’ll have a chance to see the common house, playroom, workshop, and guest rooms, as well as the Phase II units. Refreshments will be served and kids are welcome to hang out in the playroom during the event – bring the whole family! The entrance to the neighborhood is off of Little Brook Street, just north of Abbott Road. From Little Brook, take your first right onto Nuthatch Place and you’ll see the parking lot on the right, just south of the atrium. Enter the common house, which is at the east end of the parking lot.
